Who am I?

I believe it's important to know people outside of university and jobs because it is too often that you don't truly know those who you work alongside every day. Everyone is multi-faceted and has sides of themselves you never would believe existed. I love hearing people's stories and so I thought I would share mine!

First, I'll mention some quick facts about myself, then describe my interests, passions and hobbies, and finally state my personal outlook.

Quick Facts About Me

  1. I'm twenty-three years old
  2. I am a student of Engineering Science at the University of Toronto
  3. I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada
  4. I am an avid hiker/backpacker
  5. I'm a triathlete

Interests, Passions and Hobbies

  • Hiking: Walking through forests, camping on mountain peaks, and swimming in lakes — this sounds like the perfect adventure to me.
  • Triathlons: Since the age of 8 I've been competing in triathlons which are endurance races where you swim, bike and run.
  • Photography: This summer, I picked up a camera and I haven't been able to put it down. Capturing moments is a skill and an art, one that I would like to improve to better hold on to memories and share stories.
  • Geography: I know each country and capital of the world (on a good day).
  • Languages: I can speak advanced French and I want to start learning Spanish!
